ENS – Ethereum Name Services

Does this sounds new to you? Domain names are used to map IP address on the internet. ENS are the same concept but mapped to crypto addresses. That’s interesting! How intelligent. I believe most people can’t remember a hexadecimal string of dunno how long by heart. You can even import your original DNS to ENS. How cool is that!

If you ever sent to wrong address or have issues remembering which address is for which purpose, this ENS will definitely be a life saver. The price is not that expensive but gas fees are. πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜… The shorter the name the more expensive it is ranging from 3 character “.eth” domains at $640 per year, 4 character around $160 and 5 characters and above at $5 per year. Gas fees are around $95+/- at the time of posting. It does more than just binding to your crypto address. Email, website, avatar, bla, bla…. See screenshot below. Its something that can be explored…

If you guys have a wallet which supports ENS, go ahead and send cryptoseng.eth some ETH! I got my ENS yesterday! Have you?

Here is a few places for you to read up on this and maybe to buy your own ENS. 🀭

I’ve went off track these 2 days. Gotta get back to my NFT project tomorrow. Next will be to setup the smart contract follow by getting a simple dapp to mint the NFT. Ciao~~~ 😎
